Mobility and stability are directly related to joint balance. Becoming more aware of imbalances in the body and restoring balance to the joints will allow us to move with greater freedom and strength. Once we identify and eliminate dysfunctional movement patterns, we can improve our functional range of motion by balancing the length and tension of muscles providing optimal joint mobility and strength. Rolling can help relieve knots, and reduce soreness, pain, stress, and even scar tissue. It will improve your posture and flexibility and enhance performance while preventing injury. You will learn how to awaken the tissue by improving circulation and releasing endorphins, cultivate a healing parasympathetic response, and shine light into your body’s blind spots and bring a deeper awareness to your movements.

In this workshop, we will explore self-massage and rolling techniques (Often called Myofascial Therapy, or Myofascial Release or Compression) along with simple asana flows followed by a Q&A.

Rollers will be provided. Space is limited.
