As requested, we’re doing this again before summer goes flying by. Bring your most fabulous play day energy! For anyone willing to approach it with sense of fun, handstand practice is great for deepening body awareness, releasing heavy emotional energy and improving overall posture whether you find your balance point upside down or not.
First hour we'll warm up and talk a bit about what goes into holding a handstand, working a lot on the approach to getting upside down against the wall.
Second hour we'll work more on getting off the wall, which is mostly about straightening up once you're upside down. Not easy, but not terribly complicated either. It mostly just takes consistent practice.
Best pre-cursors to handstand are a strong down dog and a good attitude. I'm happy to field questions if you have any.
